Updated: Mar 28

What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an internationally acclaimed leading brand of clear aligner therapy, with a clinically proven record of straightening 10 million patient’s teeth to date. Invisalign straightens teeth via detailed 3D computer imaging technology and a series of removable, customized aligners. It is a more comfortable and aesthetic method of straightening teeth without the need for traditional braces, so you can live your life without interruption!

With each aligner, teeth are gradually move and are adjusted to the planned position determined by the prior treatment simulation plan (ClinCheck) that your dentist approved prior. It is an ideal solution for people suffering from dental malocclusions such as dental spacing, open bite, crossbite, crowding, deep bite and excessive overjet. If you are unsure of your eligibility, you are more than welcome to attend a Free Invisalign Consult & Sharing session with us!

What is the Invisalign protocol like?

We will first determine what you would like to change about your smile. Followed by a smile assessment, which includes dental x-rays, photos and a scan of your teeth and begin to tailor a customized treatment plan simulation to move your teeth along with Invisalign's AI technology.

Once the treatment plan has been finalized and approved, your set of aligners will be 3D printed and shipped from Costa Rica to our clinic. We will issue you with your customized aligners to be worn 20 hours a day and teach you how to take care of them. The number of aligners and total treatment time will depend on complexity of your dentition, your compliancy with wearing the aligners and your ability to maintain good oral health. Following this, we will see you every 8-12 weeks for review till your treatment is complete and retainers are issued.
